Lulu/RPGNOW Print Comparison
A comparison between identical books produced via Print on Demand via LULU and via RPGNOW (Through Lightningsource). One thing I forgot to mention on the video was that setting up the files ready for print is relatively easy and painless on Lulu as compared to Lightningsource who make a lot more technical demands and don’t have a nice, shiny, hand-holding upload interface. Guest appearance by Charlie the cat.
Self Publishing with print on demand is empowering for young people
www.TheCreativePenn.com I get excited about my 9 year old niece’s book that we have published using Blurb print on demand technology. The process of starting, writing and finishing a book, doing illustrations and then editing and finally creating a published book is a huge achievement for anyone, but especially for a 9 year old. The ability to do this could be life changing for many young people and the costs are very low with print on demand. So consider doing it with a class at school or with your kids.
