And where can i buy those?

I have a niche market book and wish to know the least expensive Print on Demand service.?

Least expensive start up and least expensive cost per book. We have a small market for the book so we would not need much more then good printing.

What is the best way to find a good Literary Agent for a book that is currently POD (print-on-demand)?

I completed my first book a few months ago. Frankly, it is doing much better than I expected. I’m a genealogist and the book is a narrative about each generation in my family from the 1700’s to the present. Where can I find an agent for this type of book?

What is the best digital press on the market for image quality and cost for short run printing(< 5000)?

I am a small-sized commercial printer that is attempting to move from offset to digital as my customer base has a higher demand for quick turnaround short run aplications. I am also attempting to reduce the waste and costly time consumption of offset printing. I am looking to purchase a digital press and would like to get feedback from industry pllayers who have had experience with the various digital presses available on the market (ie HP Indigo, Xerox iGen3, Xerox DocuColor, Kodak Versamark,etc,..) The cost issue is also important as is troubleshooting and maintenance.

Are there any print-on-demand services that offer a webservices API?

I sell books on my website. When someone buys I want to automatically tell a print-on-demand company to automatically ship a book to my customer. I've found a great DVD-on-demand company, but can't find any info on print-on-demand. I don't want to leave my website to order. I want the customer to order and pay on my website, and then my website will use a webservice or xml api to talk to my print-on-demand company (don't have one yet) to ship a book. Any tips, ideas, experiences?
