Print on demand refers to digital printing…on machines like Xerox or Ricoh. Rather than printing done on offset presses.
Offset printing takes longer….it is the traditional way of printing…there are more things that have to be done in the process…you have to shoot a negative…then make a press plate from it…then load the press with canned ink. (comes in actual paint cans ) but it is higher quality.
Print on demand is just printing from a computer to electronic printers, that use toner….but these are industrial printers….not like you would have at home.
