I would advise going through eBay or AMazon...maybe a charity shop may have the books? Or you could contact the publisher and see if yuo can get a special deal.

I know that there are used copies of some books available on Amazon.com. They may not be from the actual Amazon distributer, but from independent sources, such as bookstores (for the most part) and large collectors.

Try e-bay too - it's amazing what people put on there.

Good luck ...

I don't know if there is any way to get the books free. But I generally buy books at the website half.com b/c you can get them relatively dirt cheap. My college Humanities professor told us NOT to buy our book at the bookstore, to use half.com, so I checked it out. Instead of the $50 at the bookstore, I paid around five bucks for it.

I checked a couple of the books you listed. One of them, regularly $90, can be bought for $25, and another one can be bought for 75 cents instead of $10.00. You have to add shipping and handling, which can run three to five bucks.

But please check them out. The books won't necessarily be new or excellent condition. But if you absolutely HAVE to have the book, you can't beat it. The condition of all the books I've gotten has been nothing less than very good - a few pen marks here and there, a crease in a few pages, maybe a few highlighted sentences.
