A couple questions:

1) Just thinking, can you make a private book on wordclay? I am just curious.
2) Is it possible to take the book out once you publish it?
3) People keep saying that there are hidden costs on websites like this. Is there any.
4) Do I get any money from this and is there anything needed to use this website like a credit card, could I use money order, and ect? How do I get the money basicly if I get any at all?

The book price is dependent on your final page count (there’s a minimum of 48 pages). You can estimate your cost for your book using the calculator on Wordclay’s homepage. But there’s no minimum purchase required (you do not have to order your book to make it available for sale in the online bookstore). You can design your own book cover, title and all, and Wordclay will apply it to your book project for $25 (the DIY Cover Conversion service).

that works fine cuz manga is printed in black and with with the only color being on the cover will it cost me anything since it is a graphic novle? will it cost me anything to upload my pic for the cover of the book too? and what if the title is written on the pic i upload for the cover?

Wordclay can help you publish any kind of book. Currently Wordclay offers three softcover book sizes: 5×8, 6×9 and 8.25×11 inches. The largest size would work best to accommodate graphic novels. You should be aware, however, that at this time there is only a black and white printing option for interior pages. Covers are printed in color.

Yes, you can publish a book of short stories quite easily. You’ll just need to combine all of your stories into one Microsoft Word file before you upload your book. And, there is a 48 page minimum for books (NOT 48 Microsoft Word pages; 48 pages once it’s in the book format you choose).

Overall, I’d say Wordclay’s online publishing is very short-story friendly.

You can use an ISBN that you purchase through Wordclay. The ISBNs also include retail channel distribution. You can choose to have Wordclay as your publisher, or you can be the publisher (your own publishing imprint).

The “coming soon” within Wordclay’s bookstore becomes live, or available to purchase typically within one week.
