Just go sole proprietorship. Do you expect to have a lawsuit from the sale of your book? Then there is really no need to differentiate yourself from your business. An LLC acts as a entity for business - with limited ownership - if the entity has fiscal or legal problems - the owenrs might not be held accountable - unless they caused the actions. If by chance you want someone else to have portions of the proceeds - then setup the LLC. Otherwise - for tax purposes a sole proprietorship is okay.
