Office pinter users use a Window 2003 print server running on 32-bit platform to print to a HP LJ4650 printer. A few users have 64-bit computers and would like to be able to print to the LJ4650 printer. Attempted to installed 64-bit print driver on a 32-bit printer server was unsucessful. Windows demand the print driver must be 32-bit compatiable. 64-bit print driver came from HP website. Any suggestions or solutions are greately appreciated.
you should be able to install and specify the drivers you want, but it will take some manuel work to do
you need to install the same driver you are using on your server on you other computers. As long as the drivers match they should work. The computers don't care which drivers you use as long as they match.
