Can one person demand a picture is not printed?

Print On Demand

I have a photograph of my grandson when he was born, on the internet and his mother is demanding I take it off or she will take legal action, I have the permission of his father, my son.

There is no property in an image [save in very limited circumstances which do not apply in this context].
The mother therefore has no legal right to demand you remove it.
Whether you do so for other reasons is a matter for you.

It depends on the context and location, but if one of the parents objects, they could argue invasion of privacy.

I would take it off for peace sake.

I would think carefully about publishing pictures of children, but I believe the law on photographic images of people in England is that the picture is the property of the photographer or the person in posession of it, and not the property of the subject.
